Sponsored by D-Link and cast by a plethora of established community figures like Day[9], Artosis and djWHEAT, the SC2L starts today and aims for a grand final and DreamHack Bucharest.
Eight teams - ROOT, Liquid, EG, Mouz, Na`Vi, Acer, Axiom and Dignitas-Complexity - will participate in the SC2L and will go through a single round-robin before they enter the online playoffs. The last two teams remaining after the bracket phase will be flown to DreamHack Bucharest September 14-15 where they will fight for the lion share of the $10,000 prize pool, a purse that can be doubled with the purchase of D-Link routers.
djWHEAT, Artosis and Day[9] will be lined-up nex to iNcontroL to broadcast the games, which are starting today and will total to four a week. The broadcast will be carried out by EG office in San Francisco with the guest casters joining online.
