After going on a final round three-game win streak, EG-TL finally meet their match in a seven-game series with Samsung KHAN, who bar the joint roster from climbing to 6th place. KHAN started with dropping the first two maps to Alive and HerO and although Kop stopped his team from going down to 0-3, Samsung did not stabilize until game five when Reality burned the difference down to 2-3. KHAN's legendary Protoss Jangbi was able to pick it from there, defeat JYP for the tie and defeat DH Summer runner-up Jaedong in the ace match.

Although EG-TL have already been mathematically eliminated from the tournament, this was a necessary triumph for Samsung KHAN. Stork's team is still hovering around the elimination line and are currently 5th, one win but almost 30 points behind STX Soul.
