After Strelok's success on Tuesday, Ret is the second European to advance to the RSL V playoffs first in his group.
Like his fellow European, Liquid`s Ret surrender only one map on the way to the first place in RSL V Group B, starting off with a 2-1 victory over eSports veteran White-Ra and proceeding to flawlessly kill Jim in the winners match.
Losing to Ret sent the Chinese Protoss down to the decider match where TheSTC was waiting after eliminating White-Ra. While the Korean opened strong and took the first game, Jim was quick on the recovery and won the next two sets to advance as second in the group. This is Jim's first success on international soil in 2013, his next test being WCS AM Challenger Group E on June 20th.
