Aided by his compatriot Heromarine and team ace Mana, HasuObs dealed a 5-2 loss to Quantic Gaming in last night's TeamStory Cup, pushing the American team even deeper down the rankings.
All the best Korean players of Quantic were line-up against the European roster of Mousesports in the night of June 7th but despite the intimidating presence of the white flags, the foreigners stood their ground. Even more, the German-based team dropped just two maps on their way to a 5-2 win, putting Quantic down to 2-6 in series.
Heromarine opened with a victory for the Europeans by stomping Quantic's captain HwangSin but was quickly denied a double kill by TREME, whom Quantic signed just yesterday. The ex-StarTale Protoss live for just two rounds as well and became the first victim of HasuObs' killing spree.
After the death of TREME, Quantic tested HasuObs in two TvPs but the German ace was equally unmovable and Quantic found themselves sans Apocalypse and Center and one game away from defeat. HyuN was sent as their last resort and although the former GSL finalist was able to put an end to HasuObs' tear, he ultimately fell victim to Polish star Mana for the final 5-2.
TeamStory Cup returns in two days time as MVP takes on Team Acer. The other matches from the same week are Axiom versus Mousesports (June 12th) and ROOT Gaming vs Team Acer (June 14th).
