?The German Zerg Dario "TLO" Wünsch is the fifth player to advance to the WCS seasonal finals in Korea, after scoring two 3-1 TvZ's against Happy and Lucifron.
TLO fell to the 5th place relegation bracket after suffering crushing defeat at the hands of one MVP, who walked out of the series untouched and forced the Liquid Zerg to struggle for the final seasonal spot today. Visibly not in his best ZvT form and opening the day with a match against Happy, TLO's chances looked slim.
Losing the first set to Happy put TLO in further danger but it only got better from there. Like TLO, the Russian didn't seem to be in his best condition either and ended up losing the next three sets by surrender - 1-3 and allow TLO to move on.
In the relegation bracket finals, the Zerg in Liquid blue was paired with Lucifron who had just wiped the floor with BabyKnight 3-0 and was looking forward to another quick win that would send him to the seasonal finals.
Once again, TLO would end up losing the first game but kept his mentality intact, getting back into the series on the back of a six pool into mutalisk transition. Game three on Star Station also went to his favor and after a nydus/roach finale on Newkirk Precinct, TLO sighed in relief - he had overcome some of the best that WCS Europe had to offer and qualified for the seasonal finals in Korea.
With that, WCS Europe season one is just three games away from completion. In a few minutes, Dimaga plays MVP in the first semi final series, followed by Stephano against ForGG in the second.
