Very short and cunning game indeed during the first game of World Cyber Games. Being played on Ride of Valkyries, Jaedong spawns on the bottom left while Bruce is on the bottom right. Bruce starts off with the typical fast expand. Jaedong with a very aggressive all-in type build makes Bruce panic. Bruce is on the edge of his seat to see what Jaedong is going to do next. Bruce walls himself in pretty nicely but Jaedong knowing the map very well mines out the 16 mineral on one of the patches.
Jaedong is causing chaos now in Bruce's base, killing everything in sight. Jaedong destroys Bruce's main leaving Bruce very frustrated as another squad of Zerglings come. This time to attack Bruce's natural expansion and breaking it. Bruce is left with nothing and types out.
Second game on the main stage was on Tau Cross between Jaedong and ret. Jaedong is known for being a very aggressive player. Ret is looking calm as he is up
against one of the best Zergs in the world. Jaedong, underestimating his opponent, decides to go two hatch Mutalisks instead of a normal three hatch build.
Jaedong makes a pool before hatch trying to get that slim edge over his opponent as he goes for the very aggressive two hatch build. Zerglings are now out, ret seems to be calm not letting Jaedong do too much harassment. ret now expands while a Spire is on the way. Scouting with the SCV to the wrong location leads into panic as ret's SCV dies before it can see what Jaedong was doing.
ret most likely thought Jaedong was doing an all-in with mass Zerglings as they snuck past his marines into the Dutchman's main. ret, now very frustrated, loses his concentration. Jaedong takes this opportunity to harass with Mutalisks while ret has nothing but a few marines with no medics. A minute later ret taps out, clearly disappointed.
