After a gruesome and laggy first edition of the online 1on1 ZOTAC Cup, the organization decided yesterday to exclude all players from China for the upcoming tournaments.
Last weekend's tournament had many Chinese players in the front row; Pj, Super and ChinaTTTT were all top contenders for the 100 Euros in the prize pot, but were forced to forfeit their games due to heavy lag.
- If our administration will notice similar problems with other countries we will ban these players from the tournament too, says Lajos A. Rakow, Project Manager of Game-TV.com to GosuGamers.
First ZOTAC edition winner, Jos "ret" de Kroon, stated his opinion in an interview with readmore.eu and agreed to that until China gets better connections, they should not participate in most European and American tournaments.
- It just causes too many problems, they also have plenty of tournaments and leagues and progaming teams in their own country, that they shouldn't want to enforce their lag upon other players, says the Dutchman.
