David "SquaLL" Saez defeated Bojan "OctoberZerg" Vlakevski moments ago and could crown himself the GosuCup #12 champion. This win made him the only player to have won more than one series.
With a scarce participation count, only six rounds were need to crown the Spaniard this time. SquaLL tells GosuGamers that his team mates Christoph "Mondragon" Semke and Jos "ret" de Kroon will play in the next series, which opts for tougher resistance. "Sadly for me, it will be a little bit more tough," said SquaLL and smiled.
The grand final started on Sin Chupung Ryeong, where the game was decided in the air. With similar build orders, the mutalisks faced each other just as "young". With better micromanagement, SquaLL emerged victorious in the airborne battle and could swag the first game.
The last three showed OctoberZerg going 9-pool-speedlings, which he was successful with on Destination. But in the third (Othello) and fourth (Blue Storm) game, SquaLL was able to counter the rush with confidence and won with relative ease.
