Just recently, Blizzard Entertainment announced a job opening for a Lead 3D Level Designer, which fans predictably assume that it's for the release of Diablo III.
Just recently, our beloved Blizzard; creator of one of the best RTS games to exist today, has opened a spot for Lead 3D Level Designer; quite possibly hinting at the production of Diablo III.
Why do we presume this? The job post indicates that they would like for the candidate "to have excellent analytical understanding of competitive online play with various Blizzard Entertainment games and mods (real-time strategy, World of WarCraft, Defense of the Ancients, etc.)," leaning towards what could soon be released as Diablo III. Everything is not 100% sure and is all assumptions by the people, but the facts given out so far very much lead to a brand new production in the Diablo series.
Team 3
A few months ago, we posted a news about Blizzard's 'Team 3'. Now we already know blizzard has a third development team, whose purpose has yet to be revealed to the world by Blizzard. Could it be possible that Team 3 is meant for Diablo 3? We'll just have to stick around and find out.
