SCforall has released an interesting blog letting us take a peak into the Korean Courage League through the eyes of a foreigner. Idra is a well known American player who has made the jump to Korea and plays on the Korean team eSTRO.
The blog is a breakdown of the games he played in the Group B stage of the Courage League in Korea. He talks a lot about the match ups and how he played and putting down his thoughts on how he can improve as a player. Here is an excerpt from the opening of his post:
I played my second courage match a few weekends ago. A lot of the excitement and anticipation was gone from my first time as I had experienced everything before and knew what to expect, that made it a bit easier to just focus on preparing for the games themselves. My coach and I arrived at Yongsan station (the place where early round OSL matches and Pro League games are held) around 11 in the morning, and were promptly told to wait for an hour. For some reason the group A games were taking forever, they were just starting the 4th round as group B was supposed to start. This wasn’t all bad as I got to meet a few guys I know from battle.net while we were all milling around outside the door to the tournament room. Besides the delay nothing of interest really happened, so onto the games.
