jesuscraft who arranged the American Invitational Tournament hosted by StrategyADay.com not too long ago has decided to take the next step; hosting something he likes to call the World Wide Professional League, WWPL.
The players, divided into 16 groups will fight for a spot in a very rewarding tournament with the top 32 players of those groups. Each week from Monday to Thursday one round of the league will be played. After eight weeks the top two players from all 16 groups will move on to the "money round" which is a 32 player double elimination tournament.
Anyone can sign up for the league and although entering will cost you $10, keep in mind that there is a lot to win. The winner will get $500, the runner-up $250, third $125 and the fourth gets $75. But that is not all, the 5th to 8th place will all receive $25 and if you end up in 9th to 16th place you will earn $10, which is what you pay to participate in the first place.
