The first season of the Yankee League has been running smoothly; with only 3 weeks left in the regular season, it is beginning to look clear who will make the playoffs, and to many the results may not be surprising.
Eight American based teams started the Yankee League, and although one has since exited the league due to inactivity, there have been many exciting matches. In a proleague styled system, there have already been five clanwars having needed the Ace match to determine the winner.

The results for the most part, are not surprising; the American powerhouse, Media along with sMi are currently undefeated, while LighT currently sits at third place, and maybe a little surprising to some, the East clan, OD rounds out the top four and remains in the playoff hunt. PewPew, a team composed of TeamLiquidians, NrG, and lastly X17 round out the bottom three teams.
There have been some surprising matches, for example sMi defeated LighT, PewPew defeated X17, and OD defeated NrG; with the proleague format, any team can win on any given day, making all the matches quite intense and exciting!

Each match is shout-casted live, and afterwards VODS of the matches are released, making this league unique among others.
Playdays are every Thursday and Friday at 3 AM CET (for Europeans), and Wednesday's and Thursday's at 9pm EST for Americans. Stop by and check out the action, listen live, and watch later as some great gamers battle it out to determine who the Yankee Champion is.
