In the wake of the newly announced World Nation League, WGTour is also starting up a Nation's Best 1v1 tour where 32 players from different national teams (including some B teams) will take each other on to see who's best.

Eight groups of four players each will determine which sixteen players make it into March 15th's double elimination bracket. With the players of two groups fighting for the four qualification spots every week, there's a considerable lead-in.

A couple of the obvious nations aren't playing in this tournament, most notably Russia, Sweden and Chile. This is because the first 32 nations to react to the announcement were chosen to participate in the tournament. All leaders were contacted.

The second stage bracket will be double-elimination style. The winner's bracket will be bo3 much like the semifinals and loser's finals, while the actual finals will be taking place as a bo5.

Every group stage match will be played at 20:00 CET, and WGTour's designated channel for this event is Op WGT-1 on the Europe server. Two weeks of group stages have already been played-- coverage and rep packs for these matches can be found at the WGTour site, which provides news and reps for Groups 1/2, as well as news and reps for Groups 3/4.

Next matches to be played on February 23rd.
