It came down to one game on the last day of the group stage, Bisu[Shield] vs. GGplay. The game would not disappoint as both players hung on as long as they could.

Group D Final Stats
Sea[Shield] 3-0*
Bisu[Shield] 2-1*
GGPlay 1-2
Light[aLive] 0-3

Sea[shield] would advance out of his group within the first two games played by Group D. After consecutive victories against Bisu[Shield] and GGPlay, his spot in the quarterfinals would be solidified as Light[aLive] would lose two games in a row to both Bisu and GGplay. So it came down to one last game.

The Game
The game would be set on the map BaekmaGoji. A true game of perseverance and endurance as an equilibrium between the two players would be set between the north and the south side of the map. It would be a tug of war as both players would try their best to take their own expansions and destroy their opponents. Eventually, with an ailing economy, GGPlay would be overwhelmed by Bisu's forces and would be forced to type out. This game was possibly the longest game of the entire tournament and displayed great effort by both players.

Nothing left, but Pride
With the qualified spots taken, it was just down to Sea vs. Light on BaekmaGoji. With nothing left but to save face, Light would try his best to win his game against Sea. Light would try a desperate proxy build, but it was quite clear that it was a failure from the beginning and Sea would be able to pull out of his group with the 2nd all-kill in this entire tournament.

The Tournament So-Far
Gretech has done the world outside of Korea a huge favour in broadcasting these games in lag less streams. To make it even more alluring they had hired one of the most well-known StarCraft casters in the community to help out, Nick "Tasteless" Plott. The games thus far have been entertaining, and with an English cast it has made the games much more interesting to watch. The streams so far have had very little complaints, with only a few users having complaining of laggy streams. A successful cast has been made by GOMTV, but only time will tell if the StarCraft community made an even better impression on the minds of Gretech. If you haven't yet, show your support on their forums or even by simply viewing all the VODs from the group stages to show our numbers!
