Garimto, the legendary Protoss has decided to hang up his StarCraft gloves. For good this time. Not much less famous, Chojja, will also retire. A sad day for StarCraft indeed.
For the most hardcore Garimto fans it was a day of joy when he returned to the pro life after having served his military service and also done a bit of commentating. Sadly the only TV appearance he got, against Free in the ProLeague, after he came back he lost. He also never managed to qualify for ODT or Survivor. He leaves as a winner of the OSL twice, once in 2000 and once in 2001. That makes him a member of an exclusive club. Boxer, NaDa, iloveoov and July are the only ones who matches that achievement. NaDa of course won it three times, while BoxeR was the one who lost the final to Garimto in 2001.
Chojja, the cowboy zerg, is no less remembered by many despite sharing Garimto's fate by not playing well lately. He has a long list of achievements as well, crowned by his MSL title in 2006. It's also said that GoodFrienD is placed on a transfer list and aQua is possibly also cut from the KTF squad. Keep in mind that all these players are KTF MagicNs players.
According to Live2Win over at teamliquid this development is most likely due to some conflicts within the team. As if that wasn't enough, Sync is changing careers from being a player to being a coach. That means KTF could potentially have lost five players, including their captain, Garimto. They still have a big player squad though, with the best and most famous including: Reach, YellOw, 815, Flash and Nal_rA.
