Congratulations to the victory! How does it feel?
- Thanks, cool since I was pretty stressed in the second game after a rather easy win in the first one.
How did you prepare for the match?
- Well I watched his games versus sO.o in the last round, hence why I played like I did. I realized that those are the best builds against the ones Mireille did versus sO.o, and he obviously did the same build versus me so I won very fast.
Tell me about the games.
- In the first game, played on Tau Cross, I saw that he went one Factory against sO.o and late Marines with very fast scouting, so I knew that he had rather poor economy because of that fast scout and he didn't have a big army due to the one factory and the rather late Marines. So I made a fast expansion which I found really nice build lately, after playing some Terran versus Protoss games versus good Protoss players. Mireille then did a horrible push against me so he lost pretty fast.
The second game I decided to go a fast two Gateway going for Dragoons with range, where he went a wall-in with Vultures with speed and spider mines. It countered his build perfectly, so he had to change it a bit. But it was too late because I already had two Dragoons attacking his supply.
Did you expect to win versus Mireille?
- Yes, I betted on myself on two StarCraft sites, but I was pretty afraid after I saw his rather good macro against sO.o.
What race do you want to play next in the MYM KOTH?
- I would prefer to play against a Zerg player since my Protoss versus Zerg is pretty scary on maps like Tau Cross or Longinus. Terran would be okay too, due to my Protoss versus Terran skills. The worst would be Protoss mirror because I haven't been in shape in that match-up as of lately.
How was it like playing knowing that GIGA was broadcasting it?
- Well, I already played a few games on GIGA TV when playing BW4Ever and another showmatch, so it wasn't a new thing to me, but I was still more stressed than in normal matches.
Do you think the event should have more rounds?
- A hard question but I would answer yes, because the more games the more good replays come from it. The showmatch would be remembered more if there'd be some good games.
How many replays do you watch per week?
- It depends if I'm going to play any important matches. If I have a LAN tournament or maybe a showmatch I watch replays of progamers on the maps I'm going to play. If not - I only watch replays of top progamers, maybe five replays a week.
