PGL is having trouble with their invitational players from Europe again but now they found a player who after the loss in his nation's WCG preliminaries was just a couple of games away from a ticket to Seattle.
Fosken: It feels great, I have never been to China before.
The Ukrainian White-Ra got an invitation, but had to say no as he could only have one visa at the time, and he already got one for his trip to Seattle and the World Cyber Games. Testie was invited too, but after not deciding in time whether he should go or not he could not fix his visa in time either.
However, third time's a charm! Another Polish player will take the second spot. Fosken, the runner-up in WCG Poland and did not find anyone to sponsor his trip, will not be going to Seattle. He tells GosuGamers that he finds this trip somewhat compensating for the disappointment.
- WCG Grand Final in Seattle was very important to me, but to find ~2,000€ in 2-3days is impossible. He also says that he probably won't understand that it is happening before he arrives there, it has all gone so fast that he has not really got a chance to think or feel much at all about it yet.
Monday morning, Fosken will together with Draco leave for China and stay there for a total of two weeks, battling versus the Chinese and Korean players in PGL.
The PGL administration had originally three spots for the "foreign" players, but now they have lowered it to two, and instead added another Chinese player. According to GG-GL.net, So.K_LK, recent Chinese WGT2007 winner will fill up the empty spot.
