Surprisingly enough, news does not grow on trees nor write itself. This is why GosuGamers is searching for new editorial talent to reinforce the editorial team's current ranks so that we can continue providing high quality coverage of the StarCraft scene. Sounds appealing? Read on.
GosuGamers is looking for fresh new editors to contribute with news, conduct interviews and write columns for the StarCraft section. Their task is to keep the readers up to date with all the happenings in the StarCraft gaming scene. Today there are an increasing number of significant developments and events that we would like to report; we constantly want to improve the quality and productivity of our coverage, an increase in our numbers will help us achieve this. When a tree falls in the StarCraft forest and no one knows about it, GosuGamers writes a news.
If your asking yourself 'What is required in order for me to join?' that is the first requirement, a will to be an editor and write news for us; we require however that this will have the time and energy to write a minimum of six news posts a month.
The second requirement is insight and knowledge of the StarCraft community so that you are capable of writing high quality news. Another key necessity is good usage of the English language. We often work in groups, so good workmanship is a big plus, but you also need to show initiative and an ability to work independently when it is needed.
Finally to work as an editor can take a lot more time than you think, therefore you need a genuine interest to help out and keep the community updated with the latest news.
We are unable to offer any economic benefits for this work. We however offer you the chance to get experience in online journalism, to improve your journalistic and writing skills, getting your work read by thousands of people and most importantly having fun contributing to the community we all love.
