GosuGamers' Editor-in-Chief gives you the list of the six hottest subjects in the StarCraft scene this week. Today he brings up, to mention two, the dominance of BW- in WGTCL Division 2 and the 1,500 dollars richer G5.

Team BW-

The Swedish team Brood War is owning it up in both WGTour Clan League Division 2 and in QCup. Currently in the lead (if you can trust the WGTour table) of Division 2a after solid performances by especially hayprO and TuFFeR, they seem to be the top contender to follow former Division 1 team [F2F] up to the highest league. BW- is also in the lead in QCup after yesterday's stellar performance by Gurram. Seriously though, they need a better name. How about... the Swedish Sentinels?2

iCCup Anti-Hack

Just when we thought that there was no hope for competitive gaming and a solid ladder with anti-hack, iCCup announced a couple of days ago that their launcher was finished.. Simply put, if you do not have the launcher running, you can't create any games. You are able to join, but you won't receive any points for playing it. Unfortunately, after presenting the launcher, they had to remove it because it had too many bugs. But keep it up, the community needs it!

Strelok

The Ukrainian Terran player who has been in the higher food chain of gaming for quite a while now, has left Against All Authority, and the second he sent his resignation, teams were all over the place with pen and paper wanting to sign the Warship. Strelok has not decided yet on which team he intends to join up with, but expect him to join one of the top teams soon. How about following his former Ukrainian team mate White-Ra to MeetYourMakers?4

GGPlay

Zerg player GGPlay shook it off and turned from 0-2 to 3-2 in the OnGameNet StarLeague over Iris[gm]. The fact that he told his father after the third game that he would turn it around and win was awesome. As GosuGamers new Korea expert Dawn wrote, "After such little time within the team, over two years he has participated in four starleagues, always able to get to RO16, but never past that line... until now."

GosuGamers StarLeague

114 players entered the third and last qualification, showing once again how popular a European-based 1on1 league can be. I'm eagerly waiting for the regular season to start and see how the players will do. Please, StarCraft community, focus less on showmatches and produce more individual leagues such as the GosuGamers StarLeague. We need it - just as badly as an anti-hack launcher.6

G5

Eric is a player who I know quite well. He has been in the GosuGamers Editorial Staff for quite a while, and is a friend of mine. I was very happy to read that he won the New Hampshire LAN, cashing in $1,500 USD for taking down American superstars as Machine, Artosis and IdrA - twice. You go, man, keep that Korean dream alive!
