GosuGamers has previously reported about the PGL Starcraft Open, a tournament held in China. Top notch Chinese players as JayStar, Super, F91 and Phoenix have been invited, while RushGoon and Stronger had to qualify for the event. The Taiwanese star SEn is also one of the invited. Today the first non-Asian player was invited to the event, and he goes by the name of Peter Neate, more known as Legionnaire.

LegionnaireThe Australian Protoss player felt very annoyed on how bad he performed at WCG and finds the PGL a good opportunity to regain his pride. He says that he has a bit of school, but when that's finished he will devote him fully to StarCraft. This means we will probably see a better prepared Legionnaire compared to what we saw of him in Italy.

Three three-week-event in China will not be the first time in Peter's gaming career. Legionnaire took part in the Intel Cup back in 2003. There he ended in third place even though he was not intending to take part.
- I ended up having to use a dodgey mouse and no sound. All of the chinese guys were nice though, he says.

"Since PGL is an international event, we want to see more foreigners in this competition" you can read at Replays.net. After Legionnaire joining up we expect more players from all over the world to be invited soon. When asked, Legionnaire says that he really don't mind who joins up.
- Preferably no Zerg players though, he says and smiles.
