People observing the game of Midas versus Testie
The first game was on Azalea, and very entertaining as the other matches were. There were a few mistakes between both gamers but Midas managed to get the win in a very interesting game.
When we asked Testie how he felt about his first game, he replied:
- I think I made a mistake I don't normally do [in the first game] which could have turned that game around.
The second match between the two was on Gaia, where Testie was able to get an early advantage and kept Midas uncomfortably busy trying to keep up with his macro and his slow push. Testie was clearly in control at the end. As he was able to break Midas' push, forcing him to type: "gg."
The last game was on Paranoid Android, which became a very slow macro game in the mid game. Not many skirmishes until the end where both players were trying to secure the 7 o'clock expo to secure a win. At the end, Testie wasn't able to stop this mighthy Terran and was forced into checkmate as Midas' Goliaths and Tanks were way to much for Testie's Dragoons and Carriers.
This very anticipated best of three was amazing. Both Midas and Testie were on their way to the end of the playoffs, but before they could proceed, one of them must be eliminated!
