Our lovely event team gave us two awesome showmatches this weekend. First up were the young American Protoss player sO.o, also known as HungTran who went up against the Polish Zerg player Hullah. MicroGamerZ versus Templars of Twilight, Protoss against Zerg, America versus Poland, you take your pick. The match series ended in a close 3-2 win for the "Cheesing Krzysztof". GosuGamers had the chance to talk with Hullah afterwards.
- The games were not bad from my part. In the first one my opponent played
too offensive and I started with 1-0 which helped me a lot. I used some pretty good working strategies, except for the game on Longinus, where I got too bored with waiting and threw my forces on him. It seems that he had little idea how to play on maps like Arkanoid for example, says Hullah.
The fifth game, played on Tau Cross, he just wanted it to end as fast as possible.
- Once he left his main I just sent my forces on attack-move and left, he says. Hullah further says that he is happy to break sO.o's winning streak, but that he was disappointed with his trash-talking in another game.
F2F: sOo. versus Hullah
sO.o < Hullah 0-1 @ Arcadia II
sO.o < Hullah 0-2 @ Ride Of Valkyries
sO.o > Hullah 1-2 @ Longinus II
sO.o < Hullah 1-3 @ Neo Arkanoid
sO.o > Hullah 2-3 @ Tau Cross

If that wasn't enough to ticke all your senses, we also had the Canadian superstar Testie going up against one of Brazil's finest - ReasoN. ReasoN was originally meant to play Infernal, but due to certain events Testie was kind enough to jump in and play. The two WCG 2006 contestants only played three games with Testie coming out on top with 3-0. Reversed Temple, Hitchhiker and Tau Cross were the maps, and ReasoN decided not to use his main race Zerg and instead went with Terran and then two Protoss games.
F2F: Testie versus ReasoN
Testie > ReasoN 1-0 @ Reversed Temple
Testie > ReasoN 2-0 @ Hitchhiker
Testie > ReasoN 3-0 @ Tau Cross
