After the first round in our own StarLeague, we see that the Protoss race is dominating. 5-1 against Terrans and 3-2 against Zerg players.

GGSL Statistics
Zerg < Terran 0-1
Zerg < Protoss 2-3
Terran < Protoss 1-5The first round gave us a load of interesting games to watch. Looking through the statistics, we see that the children of Aiur are the most dominating players. We decided to ask our Swedish duo what they thought about these statistics. FrozenArbiter said it was because of the maps.
- Peaks of Baekdu and Tau Cross are too good for Protoss, and I don't think a lot of people choose Neo Arkanoid which is bad for us, says FrozenArbiter, also known as Jinro.

Jinro further explains that Peaks of Baekdu favors Protoss because it kills Zerg.
- Zerg has to spread out a lot and can't really send lurkers or contain that easily, says FrozenAribter. And when it comes to Tau Cross it favors Protoss versus Terran because the long distance between the main bases.

Our other Swede in the league, Mireille, is not a Protoss player but he said that maybe it was because it is easier to handle the Protoss race in this level of competition.
- While on a professional level it is harder because there the Terran and Zerg players are even with the Protoss players, says the Swedish Terran.

Zelotito, another Protoss player in the StarLeague does not really agree.
- I don't like the maps, nor Tau Cross nor Longinus. Not having a ramp is not what I want in a map, although Blitz and Arcadia seem fine, he says. He thinks that it is strange and seems to be leaning more towards Mireille's thought.
- Maybe the Protoss players were just better, ends Zelotito.

Tomorrow the next round of the GosuGamers StarLeague will kick off. It will be interesting to see how well the Protoss players will be doing.
