ZatoichiBossClub's StarCraft squad has jumped ship and instead joins up with Team Excello. Some of the players in their giant roster will drop out, but with the new sponsorship they receive full hardware set from Steel Series and Logitech, as well as sponsorship for offline events. With Team Excello focusing more on StarCraft they will also start an online cup with hardware prizes.
Team Excello recently hit the spotlight in the RTS scene after recruiting several of Asia's World Cyber Games players in WarCraft 3, such as Rabbit and Carefly. In this StarCraft team they saw a group of people who had the same motto, lifestyle and structure. The multigaming organization also mention that former BossClub boast with positive attitude towards everyone.
With the change of organization, some of their players will drop out.
- Under the new circumstances, they will be released cause they wouldn't get the chances they deserve to progress and the rewards they should. Poor motivation and not feeling part of the team would only hurt them. I'm really proud that they were my teammates, says Bartar.
- Anyone who is experienced in eSports and knows the way successful multiteams function would easily realize that BossClub is no match for Excello. The advantages are significant and I would simply point out the bigger exposure in the eSports community and all the profits that follows it, explains Bartar when asked on why they decided to join up with Team Excello.
- In addition, their awards, high activity, dedicated administrator team and constant support meet our philosophy and ambitions. Last but not least, Excello's ability for stronger sponsorship will give our players a reliable base to continue their career, adds Bartar.
The Greek manager points out that there were no quarrels or anything with BossClub. It was because of Bartar's growing involvement in the StarCraftene, he explains.
- The past months have made me realize that BossClub couldn't progress fast enough. My primary concern is our players' interests and it was clear that Excello could provide more.
What of the team's goals in 2007? After a super season in 2006, they will try to concentrate more on individual player performance this year. Bartar also mentions playing versus Koreans.
- Much interest will be also put to participating in Korean amateur clan leagues and see how we can benefit from this, he says.
If BossClub will add a new squad or no remains untold.
