Effort for the Community - someone who has played a major part in 2006's scene.
"Is awarded to an individual who has done something of utmost importance for the community. Either by strengthening the scene, making it a better place or being a role model in terms of moral and ethical standard on the internet."
There are many in the StarCraft scene that could fit in to that description, but these five have been voted most for in the nomination period. Programmers, shout casters, team managers and league administrators.

Jonas "The.Crow"
A dedicated administrator for the BWCL Premier League and a heavy worker at Broodwar.de. He is also one of the managers for BossClub, one of the most successful teams of the year.
Piotr "Ilintar" Wilkin
Ilintar is a dedicated programmer. He is the head coder of WGTour and has helped out on various programming tasks around the community. He also announced that he was trying to reinstate PGTour because the community needed a ladder. "I work for WGTour but I help the community", he said.
Jan "Ashur" Mikulasek
Another programmer who has done lots for the community. He was together with Ilintar the creator of PenguinPlug 1.13f. He is also developing BWTW, the dream to have an online game stream program much like the Waaagh!TV for WarCraft 3. Adding more and more features on the BWLauncher, he is becoming one of the most popular coders in the StarCraft scene.
Tony "Emerald"

Correction: Ilintar was incorrectly listed as the creator of PenguinPlugin, which he is not. The original version of the program was made by SuperPenguin, hence the name.
