Much thanks to the organization ingame the very popular BW4Ever Cup comes back with quite an upswing. Similar to the WarCraft tournament inWarCraft cup (inCup) the tournament will consist of eight tournaments with €200 in prize money. After these eight tournaments have been played, a Grand Final will be played and the winner there will receive €500.
- This means a lot to the scene, says Asel, BW4Ever administrator.
He means that having a regular tournament with a lot of prize money is a very good thing. And with the lack of a proper ladder, Asel thinks that this can be a good way of seeing the players skill levels.
With the huge amount of prize money, this tournament will surely attract players from all over the scene, and not only housing Germans as before.
The tournament map list consists of Nostalgia, Rush Hour III, Ride of Valkyries, R-Point, Gaia, 815 III, Tau Cross 1.1, New Peaks of Beakdu, Blitz X and Star Gates.
The first tournament will be played on Sunday the 7th of January at 14:30. Sign up as usual on the BW4Ever site.
