ClouD > MgZ)TuZeR@ R-Point3-0
ClouD > MgZ)TuZeR@ Lost Temple4-0
ClouD > MgZ)TuZeR@ Gaia5-0» Replay package
It proved to be a complete runover for the Italian Protoss player ClouD (picture), who is in hard training for the upcoming World Cyber Games. Placing the French Terran TuZeR from MicroGamerZ was an easy task, winning 5-0. Although ClouD says in the interview (see full content below) that he had a bit of luck, 5-0 are still convincing numbers. The last game they played reversed matchups, ClouD being Terran and TuZeR Protoss, where ClouD gave TuZeR a lesson how to play TvP.
- He chose a risky way to play pvt on gaia and it didn't work so well, ClouD comments. Below is the full interview with the winner of this Face2Face showmatch; Cloud.
Hello, Carlo! You've just beaten to the new French rising star, Tuzer! How do you feel?
- I feel good. Even if I expected to do a nice result since pvt is probably my best matchup, Tuzer impressed me with his playstyle. Specially first game was well played.
Did you expect a 5-0? It's really hard to win 5 PvT's in a row.
- Well it was 4 pvt and a tvp! Anyway I expected to win, but not 5-0. Seemed I had some good luck this time ^^
Why did you decide to pick up Terran on last game, played on Gaia?
- It was not my choice actually, Tuzer didn't want to play terran again because of the previous games, so we just switched our races to have some more fun in the last game. He chose a risky way to play pvt on Gaia and it didn't work so well ;o
You have shown us a great perfomance in the games you played. Have you been training recently for the WCG Grand Finals?
- Yes, I am practicing a lot. I am lucky because I managed to find very good practice partners. I have played an humongous amount of pvts with Odin and many zvps against my clan teammate on west Dream.t)Plto and some games with KaaZ. I am trying very hard to pass my group this year
What's your favourite place to train? West? Europe? PGTour?
- Well, I don't like PGTour because there is a lot of all-in rushers, so games are mostly bad and probably many of them a waste of time. On West I don't play a lot, just with some friends or people I know. So I'd say I prefer Europe ;p
You got 6th on last WCG Group stage. Do you think you'll be able to reach a better position this year?
- Well, I think so for a few reasons. In the first place I am much better this year because I am practicing just for WCG. Then this year WCG in Italy will be comfortable, since there will be no time-zone change like it was from my place to Singapore, so I guess I will manage to sleep more than 3 hours per night. But well, it also depends on the group they will give me and from other factors, so I'll just train without pretending to pass at all costs ;o
Coming back to the F2F: What was the hardest game you had?
- First one for sure. It seemed good at the beginning, then Tuzer managed to build a hidden expansion and I didn't see it, so it was pretty close until the end. It was a fun game indeed.
And the easiest one, at least in your oppìnion?
- Fourth one, I basically won with a 5 minute goon rush.
SarenS vs Hullah's F2F are going to be played on Wednesday. What are your thoughts?
- I don't know what to say about that. I think both of them are overrated, but well we might see some nice games ;o. Anyway, their level seems pretty similar, but I'd bet on Sarens because he has a pretty good tvz.
Thank you very much for this great F2F! Would you like to play another one in the future?
- Yeah, that would be cool, the organization was awesome, so thank you too.
Any shoutouts?
- Odin <3
