Hundreds of thousands of games and over 30,000 players later, PGTour's 4th seasons has finally come to an end. But, do not get sad; PGTour still has things to look forward to as the days roll on. Season V will start this Saturday and soon after PGTour's ISL for Season IV will start, that in itself is something to look forward to with all the replays and such.

PGTour's new season, Season V, will start this coming Saturday, October 22nd, at 06:00 CET. As some may have noticed the season did end a little early, 2 days to be exact. The reason why? Well that is simple. The Russian programmer, Gybs, for PGTour will need to do work on the server so that all of us community gamers and members of PGTour can enjoy the experience even more.

Soon after a new season starts the previous season's finals will start as well. These finals are called International StarCraft League, or as most know it ISL. ISL is a tournament that includes the top 64 gamers. Those gamers are than broken down into 4 different miniature tournaments. From there the top 4 in each tournament advance to the next stage. This is the stage where things tend to get a little more interesting. The 16 players are than placed in 4 groups at random. Each player will play everyone in their group until the winner is determined. After this round only 4 gamers will be left. The winners of the groups will now face each other in a best of 5 series to determine who will be #1, #2, and #3.

In this years ISL there will only be 13 non-Korean gamers out of the total 64! This proves even more that PGTour is completely dominated by the Korean community. But, will they dominate the ISL finals? Only time will really tell.

The ISL for 2 versus 2 players will also be held soon. The top 64 gamers will be able to participate in this event. The thing that differs with the PGTour 2 on 2 ladder is that it is dominated by Germans and Polish players mainly, with very few Korean gamers in the top 64.

The ISL dates has not yet been announced for either competition, but stay tuned and check in at PGTour for the official news and the complete list of both ladders. Good luck to all players who plan to participate in the ISL events this year.
