At the international ladder a Canadian who goes by the nick Shakti~Lzuruha has hosted some matchcast thats we all, or most of us, are very familiar with. With the help of Micro-Lzuruha, Last.Angel, and StrifeX, WGTour will present the WGTour MatchCast Tournament.



What is the WGTour MatchCast Tournament?


Every player that has participated in the WGTour MatchCast will now do battle in this epic tournament. Both winners and losers are to play in this event. It will consist of 16 players and will be double elimination. The first three rounds will be played October 29th at 18:00 CET. The date for the finals has not been announced as of now.

The set up of the tournament is really quite simple. The tournament will consist of 4 main rounds and than a grand final. All the rounds will be best of 3 with the exception of the final round which will be a best of 5 series.

The Players


As mentioned there will be 16 players. Hailing from different regions of the world, different SC:BW races, and different powerful teams. Teams like LG), iD., eGe, x6AMD, rS., iG., oG), iX., and [pG] will be represented in this tournament.
