Imagine you play a game and you save your replay. Now imagine that that replay not only contains the usual data, but now it contains all your mouse clicks and all your cursors movements as you played in the game. Well Ashur has come out again with a new tool that does exactly this.
He added it as a plug in to the peguin plug, so with the usual information, you will also get all the text messaging during the game recorded. In essence it is an emulation of a first person VOD, and thus its name: FP REPs. The only trade off is that such replays are considerably larger, a thirty minute game will usually run about 1 megabyte. He might add a self-compression tool to it though.
A few of us have already tested it out and it works well with no bugs so far that we have been able to find. The mouse cursor movement in the replay is at times a little choppy but it is acceptable. I guess this is you chance of making a VOD of yourself with zero hassle, so go practice that micro and hotkey skillz and save your replay.
If you are interested in this tool coming out faster go and summon the Shadowalker himself, Ashur, and insist on him delivering a polished tool, now! All you have to do is leave a request or a suggestion at his forums.
