As the days progressed last week players emerged victorious or just plain flat out lost. After the round robin stage of the GigaLiga GrandSlam comes one of the most important parts, the Final Tournament aka the Bracketed stage.
With the two groups stacked with good players in each group there was really not one player that stood out, well with the exception of ToT)Mondragon(, other than that every game played ment more than the last as every game counted.

Mondragon completely dominated his group and finished out first. He was the only player in both groups that won all his matches, which is saying something. Will he be able to win his fourth GlandSlam title? That will be decided by him and his opponent, they both have to decide which one wants it more. But, seeing how we are not close to the finals yet, no need to worry about them than.

In both groups the top 4 players out of the 6 will move on to the tournament stage. The top 4 players are decided by who wins the most games out of the round robin. Each win is worth 3 points each. So a person who has 15 points won all his games, while a person with only 3 points lost four games and only won a single game.
After the group stage comes the most interesting part in a tournament, or so some will say, the bracketed stage. In this stage the winner of Group A would face the fourth place finisher of Group B. From here the runner-up in Group A would play the 2nd runner-up in Group B. Than so on and so fourth.

The match between ToT)Mondragon( and DkH.Goody has already been played and as you can tell it did not end very well for the Terran German. Goody lost and is now eliminated, he does not get a second chance for the GrandSlam title as the bracketed stage is single elimination. The other games should be finishing up as soon as possible.
As soon as the players move and finish their matches you can be sure that GosuGamers and I will be there to report them as they happen. Until than, we wish a very special good luck to all players involved.
**The games have been finished I was just dumb and did not realize that I was dumb. So anyways the updates have been made and now the news is corrected, for the most part.
