As Sherwin "rS.Yosh" Mahbod (picture) suddenly was not able to go to Singapore for the World Cyber Games finals, the third place winner, Daniel "Nyoken" Edison, was offered the spot. However, due to college exams he could not miss, he himself wuzzed out and was not able to go either. This left the spot open for the fourth place winner, Aaron "iD.CocoA" Deir.
I do not know if a fourth placed player in a national qualifications ever got a ticket to the grand finals before, but now it has happened. The World Cyber Games staff called up CocoA's dad, since he himself is only 16 and not allowed to accept the invitation himself, and invited the Zerg player to take Yoshs' spot in group H, together with players such as the Chinese professional gamer Pj and SpanishZelotITO.
The kind dad of CocoA said yes, and agreed thus allowing his son to go to Singapore. As CocoA (picture) has been playing Age of Empires 3 lately, he has not practiced very hard. "I would have practiced way more if I knew I was going from the beginning", he says. He agrees it is a hard group but of course he will do his best to go trough the first phase of the tournament.
GosuGamers wishes iD.CocoA the best of luck in Singapore!
