In yet another addition to our site in a series of new sections, we proudly present to you the GosuBet - a betting system for all the non-Korean events and leagues!
We have indeed been busy programming lately. Our new tournament script, the Gosu Gamers database and now the last of the three is presented; the GosuBet.
The GosuBet can be seen as the non-Korean challenger to Liquibet. Together with the Gosu Gamers Database and it's rankings, the GosuBet will be a place for you to place your bets on upcoming matches in the community. The results of a match will initially return minerals based upon odds decided upon amounts of minerals in total in each match and secondly give statistics for the ratings of the database. This means that tomorrow's first round of Team Liquid Tour will shape the first looks of the database's rankings and the top list of the best betters in GosuBet.

Naturally, the system is currently in a beta status and we've rushed it a bit to manage to publish it before the start of the team liquid tour 2 playoffs. Go bet now and see the results tomorrow and then we will improve the system and have a feedback news similar to the one of the tournament script.
GosuBet instructions
Since the minerals you receive from a bet is based on the odds, it is pointless betting 50 minerals on a player in a match where that player already has 100%. The lower the odds, the higher your chances to win a great amount of minerals. Each member of the community starts with 50 minerals and can anytime reset back to 50 minerals if he or she has gone lower than this amount. This means that the minerals in motion will increase rapidly and some users will have a lot of minerals after tomorrow's first rounds.
If you currently only have zero minerals, go to Settings -> Reset my minerals!
You are free to bet on a match until the very start of it. Results are handled by the GosuGamers Crew and the minerals are given out as soon as the result is added by a Crew member. The GosuBet will initially only list matches from leagues and cups where the match is announced at least three hours ahead. Furthermore, all matches that are listed must have BWScanner or the PGTour launcher as a requirement.
Notice that matches can be added to the GosuBet without being open for bettings; this will be the case in tournament playoffs where there are only short time periods between each match. This is merely for the Gosu Gamers database to include the match and it's results into the rating calculations.
