This Sunday evening Spain is facing Canada in a 4x1on1 and 1x2on2 Nation War. The score is currently tied with only the 2on2 match left, with Testie, specTra, SquaLL and ZelotITO battling it out.
It started out pretty bad for Team Spain in this Nation War, as LG)Thorin were first under with 0-1, and later on had to forfeit. Ozmita, Team Spain leader later told GosuGamers that it was because his parents took his keyboard making him unable to play. That gave Canada a 1-0 score, and soon they got one more as the random player ToT)Testie(rS won against his clanmate x6AMD|Suker.

But then it turned for Team Spain - x6AMD|ZelotITO and x6AMD|Squall, both x6tence members won their matches, which made the nation war exciting again. Now, the 2on2 matches are being played, and GosuGamers will give you a live update on what is going on. We will also give you interviews with both team managers ( Troku and Ozmita) when the match is over.

The Spainsh 2on2 team are both away, they are having dinner. Meanwhile, Testie finishes up some clanleague matches, and the rest are just sitting and waiting in the channel. All are very good mannered and the situation seems very friendly.

The score is now 1-1 in the 2on2 matches. Testie and Veg took the first game, but Zelotito and Squall quickly evened it out, after doing a dual 5 pool in the second game. For the last game to be played, there were some lag issues, so they decided to move to the West server instead.

Testie and Veg won the last game and thereby gave the win to Team Canada! Interviews, replays and more updates are coming as soon as they are done.

- First of all I thought that we had some chances to win but it seems that we didn't have that luck we needed. Some players like ALFA or WerATuL could do a good paper there. Perhaps if they'd come we would get better results.
And your 1on1 player LG)Thorin had a bit of an accident. Can you explain more on what happened?
- Hm... LG)ThORiN noticed me before the Nation Wars that maybe he'd have some problems with his parents because he was going to see a familiar and he wanted to play the Nation Wars. So he tried to play the whole NW but it wasn't possible because he went out when his parents took his keyboard :D
So maybe the fault was mine to put him in the Nation Wars knowing that he might have some problems. Anyway I wanted to give him a chance because he was a lot of Nation Wars without play.
SuKeR hasn't played any Nation War for a long while. Does this mean that SuKeR will do his comeback?
- Yes, it seems that he's coming back again. As you might know, he came back to play in the Madrid´s Tournament and he seems he's going to try to the World Cyber Games. As always, SuKeR's giving us good results and most of us like his gamestyle, so we hope he stays playing for a long time ;D
Will Spain take part in the "Underground Cup"?
- We've PMed the Administrators of the "Underground Cup" and they replied me that "OK", so I hope they signed-up us. If we're signed-up we'll try to do our best.
The fact that it will be played with 10x1on1 and 3x2on2 does not concern you?
- Naw... I think that's a good chance to test some players of the Spain B selection. I've talked with some of them and it seem they'll take part in a "test way" to see their results.
What Nation will be up next for Spain in NWs?
- I've talked with the Mexico Leader some hours ago, during the Nation Wars against Canada was being played, so we'll play against them next week. The game format will be the same: 4 1v1 and 1 2v2.

What were your expectations of this Nation War?
- Well, I have been planning on it for a while. I always wanted to beat Spain because last time we played, the results were bad. I found out that this nw couldn't take place on Saturday at this time, would have been much better, and the only time this week was Sunday at 3 pm my time. I had to work so I left it up to the players to show. I didn't really know what was going to happen. I felt my players are responsible enough to come, some didn't, but that happens. They all had good reasons. I was hoping for a 4-1, but I'm quite satisfied with a very close 3-2 finish.
Why haven't Canada been playing that many NW's lately?
- Well, there have been many obstacles along the way. We had many players busy in WCG and Clanbase in the fall. This also led to some pretty embarassing losses, which hurt morale. I was also inactive for a while and nobody else took the liberty of starting up nation wars. Recently after Canada lost the #1 spot on the nation ladder, I took charge again and started finding nation wars.
Will Canada take part in the "Underground Cup"?
- I am not quite sure. I haven't had much time to talk it over with Testie and WGTour (which I'm a nation war admin of) is looking to spark some interest with some future events. I am not a liberty to say what, but I don't want to commit to something that might create conflicts by entering two different events at the same time. I will examine what is going on, when it is going on, and how it will be done. Then I will make my decision :)
What will be Canada's next victim for Nation Wars?
- I'm not 100% sure. I always wanted to get my revenge on USA and Finland for our losses last fall, but it might be a bit too soon. I think that at the current moment we can take jsut about any nation that comes at us, but it will require all of our top players. I was recently talking to kaoru of France and I'm hoping to set something up against them soon. Before SC goes, I want to beat every team. this means Germany too. The only team that we have yet to beat.
