The KeSPA progamer rankings for the fifth month of 2005 have just been released. JulyZerg continues his absolute domination, and several familiar faces are slowly fading out of the top.

The Korea e-Sports Association, known simply as the acronym KeSPA, has announced the new monthly ranking for progamers. As always, the top 30 has remained fairly static, with only a couple of new faces showing up. April also proved to be an inactive month for major changes within the top 30 itself.

JulyZerg pulls away from the pack

After recently ascending to the top of the progamer world, JulyZerg has now developed an astounding 190.5 point lead on second place iloveoov. It appears as if a new era has started. NaDa held the crown of number one for what seemed like an eternity, before oov charged to the top. The terran domination has been put to a dead halt by julyzerg's incredible consistancy and top finishes. Being one of the youngest progamers, one can only assume that julyzerg will only continue to build upon the gap he has created between himself and his adversaries.

Yooi, Zeus back in top 30, Rainbow drops out of the list

Two familiar faces made their way back into the top 30 this month, namely [B_Blade]Yooi and Zeus (picture). Obviously, there is only so much space at the top, and IntoTheRainBOw has fallen out of the rankings, along with a couple others. No other significant changes have taken place this month.

Nal_rA, who is quite possibly the most popular protoss of recent years, continues to struggle with his matches. Not long ago, rA was sitting at second place, and many expected him to eventually overthrow NaDa and become the first number one ranked protoss in an incredible amount of time. He now sits at 15th, down one from April, and fans of the strategical mastermind can only hope he will turn it around.
