[s]nationvsnation[/s]

Have you been missing nationwars involving Germany lately? It had become very still around Team GER, but this is hopefully going to change now.

One of the strongest nations when it comes to Starcaft is definitely Germany. With very good line-ups in team A as well as team B nationwars were always entertaining to follow. Round about three months have passed since Germany fought its last nationwar, Ger-A won over Spain's A team with 6-2 back then. The last activity was a qualification tourney for both the 1vs1 and the 2vs2 squads shortly afterwards. Even though the tourneys were completed its winners never got to challenge any team Ger members, because activity died down. But changes are now finally on the way.

Old stager BetrayaL no longer in charge

After struggling with himself for a long time about this the well respected team captain and organisator of Ger-A BetrayaL finally resigned from his numerous activities in the German Stacraft community, with one of the most important ones being his aforementioned team Ger head position. This is certainly a hard loss for the team, considering how knowledgeable and capable he was in this field.

Former Ger-B captain becomes captain of Ger-A and more

iv.Bert who was in charge of Ger-B now takes BetrayaL's position. His experience leading Ger-B will surely help handling this new task. Additionally he will receive help from oOa)Helmi. With Bert managing Ger-A the B team is as of now being supervised by iv.Sky and Eamyo. Neither of them is a freshman there. Eamyo performed in the Ger-B organisational staff before and iv.Sky already was a player of the B squad.

Nationwars to be played soon

Such kind of reorganisation takes a lot of energy, but team Ger managers are confident to get back to the playing stage very soon. "When the last organisational details are cleared, nationwars will be following shortly." says iv.Bert over at » broodwar.de.

Although BetrayaL taking his leave is definitely not negligible the restructuring also yields hope for a change to a renewed and active team Ger!
