When looking through the ISL players you could see two non-koreans, the Russian Androide and the Polish player Dunaj. However, one of the players under a Korean flag was not really a Korean - he just lives there. The player under the AKA Gold was none other than the Australian Protoss player Legionnaire!

Earlier today the finals in the prestigious tournament called International StarCraft League - ISL for short - took place. From the last round three players were left who were to face eachother in a best of three group play. The three players left were
Gold, FirstLove and SaYoNaRa[Name].

Korean Gold actually Legionnaire

The Russian FirstLove is more known as Androide, SEC attendant and one of the best players coming from Russia. SaYoNaRa[Name] is a well-known Korean player, currently ranked #55 at PGTour. The first-mentioned player went under the name Gold, who later proved to be a smurf. In the newspost about ISL the crew reveals that it was none other than Peter "Legionnaire" Neate behind it.

Legionnaire beating both 2-1

Every player faced eachother, and Legionnaire proved to be the best player of the three, taking down both Androide and SaYoNaRa with 2-1. Androide also lost against SaYoNaRa, which places him at the third place and SaYoNaRa runner-up.

Legionnaire > Androide 2-1
SaYoNaRa[Name] > Androide 2-1
Legionnaire > SaYoNaRa[Name] 2-1

Legionnaire 300$ USD richer

The first season of International StarCraft League is now over, and even if it looked like it was to be full of Koreans and no European/American idols for people to cheer on, the Top 3 actually included two non-koreans. Legionnaire got himself 300$ USD for this win, SaYoNaRa 150$ USD and Androide 100$ USD. Congratulations to all three players!
