One of the Finnish players in GosuGamers Nordic League is the Zerg Player kibbOn. He is playing in Group 1, and recently achieved his first victory - against the Dane Modelo in a ZvZ match. After the match we took a chat with the Finnish player about the event, matches and the participants.
What were your first thoughts when you heard about GosuGamers Nordic League?
- Hmm... I thought that I must try it because there were so many good players in it.
You are from Finland, and you played in the Finnish qualification. What did you think about the skill level in that tournament?
- Heh, I didn't think it was so good. :P During the qualification I was quite inactive and still made it. I was like #5-6 so not so every good players came at all.
What do you think the reason was that so few (good) Finnish players attended?
- I really don't know but I think that they didn't know this. I don't know :)
You and seven other Finnish players qualified - which one do you think have the best potential to win it all?
- I was hoping that Aqrash would win this. But is he even play these games? But I think Clawson is quite strong.

No, Aqrash haven't played a single game. Clawson is doing very good in Group 3. What do you think of the others players? Who will win it all?
- I think that Eriador and TreK would be in the finals but are they playing their group games :o? It's sad that so many good players aren't playing :\
What do you think the main reason is that there are so many walkovers?
- Money :P
Which one of the four GGNL maps are your favourite?
- Dusk. I don't like the maps that much, they are bad for Zerg. They are different from lots of other maps. Good for other races though.
You recently played against Modelo, a Danish player in the same group as you. What are your views on the Danish StarCraft scene? Did you know of Modelo before the event?
- No I didnt know him. I think that in Denmark there are lots of good players. Sad that so few participate :/
How big is Brood War in Finland at the moment?
- It has always been small. In Brood War FIN-1 there are always like 10-15 people - so not dying :P
Would you like it if GosuGamers hosted more tournaments and less leagues? Which do you prefer?
- Yeah, I like leagues, but I prefer tournaments better.
