Your chief reason that poker is so popular is because of the money reward, taking 41% of the vote. Some sort of sheepish behavior with gamers just following the herd received 19%, coming in second place.
In the comments of the last poll included some quiet interesting opinions, the following was made by HeLLsHIne:
It was a nice move of some pokersites to try to involve the gamers communties. like the gamer tournament. it was not just on every sc/bw page it was on every big cs page etc. the pokersites did a great job, without paying much for advertisments, nearly every community site of every big game postet something about em.
There were a few who disliked or had grown tired of discussions regarding poker on StarCraft sites. Luckily for them, this week's poll is not poker related.
The next Dreamhack is drawing ever closer. Tickets have now been released. The event takes place in Sweden, but are any non-Swedes planning to attend this year? Would you attend if it was in the same country as you? Here is this week's poll:
