[s]event_sec2005[/s]

Our long awaited finals of the SEC 2005 tournament is starting within a few hours on the main stage. Mondragon, being unbeat in the tournament so far is up versus the Russian Androide in a best out of five in which Mondragon already has the lead, one games to zero.

It is confirmed that StarCraft will be broadcasted on the stream and be played on the main stage here in the tournament area. However, that is about all we know. The estimated time of the start is changing about each hour so nothing is confirmed yet. Furthermore, it seems like it will coincide with Warcraft 3 or Counter-Strike since there is not enough time. It might mean it will be split screen and/or fast-switch between the two games. Also whether I will do the commentary alone or if Strafe is going to assist me is another thing we will find out shortly.

Make sure you turn into the stream at gamer.FM/streams and start watching already ~ it might start within 30 minutes.

Prize money is to be divided as follows: €5,000 (1), €3,000 (2) and €2,000 (3). Good luck all!

Update; Mondragon wins

Easy going

Mondragon after winning SECWe just saw Mondragon beating Androide two straight games on the stage, playing very secure with the one and only comment directly after the game: "Easy going"! With the win of this match he got a total of €5,000 which will go straight into Mondragon's bank account - "spend on what?".

Androide told GosuGamers he was not nervous on the stage although his quick disappearence and instable play in the third game indicated otherwise.

We hope you've been entertained in following our coverage and I would like to take the moment to ask for donations for the site so that we can keep up the on spot coverage part of our work.

I generously received a series of pictures from a German photographer who took a lot of pictures from the SC-tournaments today. I've uploaded them to my crew files and hopefully my fellow GG-Crew members will help me upload them during the day. Twisted and I took another series of photos of today's finals, also to be released later. I leave you with a few thumbnails of the best pictures, make sure to check the real ones later today.

Thanks for showed support for the site and once again we hope we satisfied your requests for coverage of the SEC 2005 event!

I'm out! GG!
