Entropy, with the help of Alvista and Casanov has made an interview with Hwang Jae Hoon, full-time editor of FighterForums. He is one of the most important characters at the Korean site FighterForum, and is mostly the one giving the community interviews with the progamers. When he writes, the Korean Starcraft community reads says Entropy.

Hwang Jae Hoon, also known as Jay, is a reporter and editor at the popular Korean site » FighterForum.com, supplying the community with high quality progamer pictures and interviews, often used on the non-korean scene, interviews translated and pictures used. If it was not for FighterForum and Korean translators, we would probably know a lot less of the Korean community. But thanks to the dedicated souls, the language barrier is no longer that big of an issue.

The article is about Hwang Jae Hoon (picture), once a daily sports newspaper editor and an editor on FighterForum, as a hobby. But recently, he quit his regular job and is now working full-time with FighterForum.com as the editor-in-chief. "Fighterforum is the only place that I work formally, however there are many sites that I visit and put up posts on a regular basis." he responds to a question about if he is working on some other site than FiFo, as it is also called.

What is it that makes FighetForum so interesting and successful, then? It is simple - they provide interviews with the progamers almost immediately after their matches. The fans want to know the players' thoughts and feelings after the game, and that's exactly what they provide with their interviews.

International FighterForum - "in a very near future"

Reading further down in the interview, Hwang Jae Hoon reveals that an international FighterForum is in the works. If FiFo would turn into an English-speaking site, the language barrier would be gone. This will definitely bring the different communities closer together, and FiFo is a site that is willing to work hard to solve this, Jay says. "We were going to open it January or February initially, but it's been delayed due to some problems. We are planning to open it in very near future." he announces.

Foreign community - "Don't browse then very often"

They also talk about the possible pro-gaming scene in China, an amazing country with huge potential, according to Hwang Jae Hoon. Questions about the foreign scene, how the Korean community is kind of isolated with the rest of the world, because of the big difference. He says that he have heard of other sites, but he haven't browsed them that much. He did however browse GosuGamers.net during WCG 2004.
