Three countries, one event, one winner, one person that advances to the finals in Singapore. The three countries that participated in the WCG Baltic this year were Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. All three countries feature great players. For Lativa, [SoG]Cool2Die, a zerg gamer who at first finished fourth in the Latvian preliminaries, but a fellow team member [SoG]Firez gave up his spot. For Lithuania, Anon[pG], also a zerg gamer who WCG Lithuania last year, and went to the finals and did a nice job there. For Estonia, Fake_Frez, who is also another zerg gamer.
The Baltic finals were held Tallin, Estonia. The top two gamers from their countries prelims advanced to the finals. The six gamers were split into two groups.
Only two people per group were allowed to advance into the next round. In the following round the players were play in a bracketed tournament. The tournament than would be a double elimination. The four players to advance were Fake_Frez, [SoG]Korporal, [SoG]Cool2Die, and Anon[pG].

So after the Winner's Final and than the Loser's Final it was a zerg Lithuanian versus a Latvian zerg. It was to be a best of five series, and a good series it would be as it went down to the fifth game. Zerg versus zerg.

The Latvian took home the grand prize, a trip to Singapore for the WCG finals. In an epic only few saw, the popular Anon[pG] lost in a five game series. GosuGamers wishes [SoG]Cool2Die good luck in Singapore!

This year the Baltic region of Europe will have a combined WCG. This means out of three countries participating in that region, only one person will go. The World Cyber Games in the Baltic region have been completed, but did not end the way some people may have thought.
