A new Spanish Starcraft and Warcraft 3 site will be holding a major Starcraft Event this afternoon with 32 players from all over South and Central America.
Teambio.net is a new Spanish speaking site focusing on Blizzard games, they have mainly a Starcraft section, and are building a Warcraft3 section. Their WOW section has been planned but it is not active. For the moment they rely in great part on our site and other main Starcraft sites as a news source, but not exclusively, producing their own material and of course doing a good a job translating and propagating Starcraft news to the Spanish speaking world.
Sometimes they forget to credit a quote or a news but this is the exception rather than the rule and we truly hope they grow and keep improving. Much like once SCLegacy was our roll model when this site was created, so is now Gosugamers to Teambiot.net and the story goes on keeping the flame alive. If you speak Spanish and like writing up news I suspect their webmaster Kiros already has his hands full and is in dire need of community assistance.
Their current flagship event is called LATINCAFT. This is a tournament where 32 players from South American and Central America have already joined, some are top players in their respective nations. After this tournament is over they will have another one with the winners and top players from other countries by invitation called Latincraft STARS.
This tournament will be held on July 17, op teambio WEST, starting at 6pm MEX/PER, 7pm CHI, 8pm ARG. They will use the WGTour map latest map pack and the first round will be Bo1, followed by Bo3the next rounds. The first and second place will be invited to play against StYm and sTrat0 respectively in a personal face to face match.
The 32 participants have all already registered, and many were left out due to the cap but are on standby should some one not be able to make it. Some of the registered members are:
