Argentina is now out, while Chile moves on and will face Poland, by many ranked as the best national team outside of Korea. The Poles beat Sweden with 9-1 to get pass the first round. Good luck to both teams!
The NW Cup administrator Cyru wrote the following anout the match between e9.Pato and osR.oMeGa-DoH on the UGL site.
We had some scandals during this match. First of all, we were considering if a tank explosion is a bug. After Raven’s piece of advise we’ve decided not to consider it as a bug. The situation happened in Pato (t) vs Omega (p) game. Pato’s scv pushed his tank on Command Center and then Pato tried to siege it. In the result that tank exploded. It was really bad luck but everybody knows it happens when you switch your tank to a siege mode being on a building. Pato could avoid it. Secondly, I must admit I wanted to restart Pato vs Omega game and even Chilean leader agreed. Nevertheless, Pato was offline so ArG.Sabbath came to replace him using fake ID ArG.PeTR. Afterwards, some players from Argentina insulted Chileans and UGL admin. It was too much. Raven gave us a hand at the same time so let’s say it just wasn't a bug.
