[s]event_wcg[/s]The Hungarian Starcraft Preliminaries are over. My dear readers, you have no clue how over-heated the Starcraft scene is in Hungary. There were hundreds of gamers showing up and 54 participants went into battle for the glory of qualifying for WCG 2004 Starcraft. Very well organized and with a decent tournament that has guaranteed the best Hungarian to win.



Replays.hu has done a great job covering it. If you head out to the WCG site you will notice that they have delegated the task to them entirely when it comes to Starcraft and Warcraft. Video interviews, replays and very frequent updates. If all nation portals would be like this my job would be so much easier.

After a great and very balanced fight, Gorky has won the preliminaries after a marathon of a tournament. The final was as heated as the whole event and Gorky managed to beat 3:2 Cameleon.
