[s]event[/s]The BroodWar and WarCraft 3 clan ToT (Templars of Twilight) is looking for a new homepage-design and needs your help. They are planning to switch to PHP5, probably at the end of the year when it gets allowed on webspaces, and therefore they want a new design of their homepage, created by you! Yes, you read correctly, they will use the design, which wins the ToT homepage design contest. Here are the most important facts, which you need to follow to participate in the design-contest, told by ToT themselves:
1. You send an email to [email protected], that we know you try to create a design. With name, age, country, and so on :) 2. When you are done, send your finished design to [email protected]. Firstly, it is enough when you send us a screenshot of the mainpage (JPG or whatever). If your design gets #1, you will have to send us the PSD-file as well. 3. When the deadline 01.09.2004 (1st September) is reached, we will compare all design which you sent us. 4. Later on we will decide which design fits the best in our association with ToT and the website. 5. Then we will choose the top 3 / top 5 (when there are much designs) 6. We will announce the top 3 / top 5 7. Then the psd-file of the Number 1 design is needed :) 8. After all, we will start to program the homepage. That can take some time, because it will be a very extensive homepage :)
As you might know, ToT-clan is without any sponsorships and so they can't offer you money or big prizes. But they will compensate your work in the best way they can, which will be like this :
- Everyone of the top 3 / top 5 can have a [email protected] emailaccount - The first one can choose a player (or more) of ToT, who he wants to play some 'practice games' against (WC3 or BW) - All designer of the top 3 / top 5 will be mentioned by name at the end. - You will be listed in the impressum section of the homepage - The winner gets honorary member of ToT.bw / ToT.wc3 (battle.net account + listed on website - if he wants to :P) but without any rights for internal things like passwords etc.
Due the fact that there are several questions asked many times they answered the Frequently Asked Questions here:
- You only have to do the design - nothing more. Code will be made by our programers - Don't use animated gifs like flash and so on - use only static images - Size should be 1024*768 - Use colors which you think fits the best to ToT
