STX Masters Cup 2009 begins on Monday, 3rd of August - and with it comes the return of the All-Kill to the Proleague. In other words, the teams meet in a best of 7-battle, and the winner of the last game gets to stay in the booth to fight the next opponent. Last time this format was used in the Proleague, in the Shinhan Bank Winners League 08-09 season, we saw some spectacular Starcraft when players turned their gosu on and won four straight matches, taking the full victory for their team. A certain SkyHigh made his name that way, and walked over none other than Jaedong before winning the season finale for CJ Entus. Check it all out here:

There is potential for epicness, as this format was arguably very popular throughout both Korean and foreign Starcraft audiences. It all kicks off on Monday with eSTRO vs WeMadeFox - let battle commence.
