Dreamhack, the World's biggest LAN located in Sweden, will in this year's Winter Edition add additional room for 1700 computers, serving a total of 6500 people. The registration opens in 15 days - be sure to order your tickets before there are none left!
[s]event[/s]Dreamhack Summer 2004 turned out to be a great event in the Swedish Starcraft Community. Unfortunately, not every Starcraft player who wished to have a ticket got it - a lot less than usual. One of the reasons might be the fact that the first 1000 tickets were sold in 8 minutes! This year, however, there are an additional 1700 tickets available and we hope that as many of you as possible will sign up.
Despite the number of participants, Dreamhack Summer 2004 was a great event and in the final, SW)TreK[cF] beat DaZe, two to one. The first prize is about €300 and the runner-up prize €200.
GosuGamers will, as usual, be there hosting tournaments and events for the Starcraft players. The final is broadcasted on the big screen including having both players on the stage, á la Korean style. The LAN will be held 25th to 28th November 2004 and will hold a total of 6500 players.
The tickets are available for buying the 30th of September, 00.00 CET at the » official site. Though notice that you have to be quick if you wish to get your tickets - as previously stated, they run out in just a day or two, after that it's too late.
We encourage every Starcraft player to grab their computer, bring their lazy asses, Starcraft CDs, Jolt Colas, BWScanner, BWChart and a nice portion of good manner - see you there!
