This month brought the new seasons for iCCup, WGTCL and the German GSL. With those comes quite a few opportunities for advancement among the ranks of the database. The top 10 have taken quite a hit and we have seen some of the best players fall a few spots and some of them advance by quite a bit. Now that the rankings have been calculated we can take a in depth look at whos who in the GosuGamers world.
Once again Templars of Twilight leader Mondragon holds the top spot in the rankings. He has a 100 point lead on his closest competitor, Strelok. It seems that this German Zerg cannot be taken down, well at least not anytime soon. He and his team have been doing really well in the leagues and he has been GosuGamers king of the hill for quite some time now. These all factor into his high rating right now and his lead seems insurmountable at this point.
This month we also saw up and coming American gamer NonY take 21 spots in his second month in the rankings. He debuted at #30 last month and has been dominating his opponents to get to where he is right now. NonY recently took down A2 in the Masters of the Craft tournament which put him up quite a few points. One things is sure his performance this month has been nothing short of fantastic. Polish king Draco has fallen from #2 to the fourth spot despite his recent reentry into the scene. He has been number one in the past and this month is his chance to come back on top.
Christoph Semke has one of the best win ratios of all the players in the top 30, going 162-39 for a nearly 5-1 ratio. This is rather impressive considering he is facing the best gamers outside of Korea. Draco follows him closely with a 4-1 ratio that is always getting better these days, especially if he continues his recent burst of activity. The Polish Protoss sat atop our rankings for quite some time in 2007 and he could easily reclaim that spot if he performs like he did last year. Former king Testie continues to fall further down the ranks due to inactivity, but rumors are swarming around that he is coming back for the TSL and he could easily climb back up.

Clan Meet Your Makers was on top of the rankings last month with 7 players, but Dreiven and Dinot both fell off this month taking them to second. Due to impressive performance by the Templars they have taken that spot from their Danish rivals and once again proved their dominance over the Brood War scene. They also have the number one spot and two of the top ten, this makes them the best rated team in the player standings, though they do hold the number four spot in the Clan Database.
Media has dropped a few spots due to Protoss sensation NonY leaving the ranks to join Excello. This bumped the Portuguese team up one player and that much closer to taking over ToT and MYMs dominating positions. Most of the teams did not shift though and kept their positions steady in the rankings. RoX has a player in the top 10 now since localhost has been performing so well as of late.Top 30 Breakdown - Nations

China has taken the top spot from previous leaders Poland but only by a hair, and thanks to Rushgoons recent addition to the rankings. Not much else has really shifted here except for Italy making its entrance thanks to ToT Protoss Cloud, who is proudly the only one representing his fine country. The other nations mostly kept their spots the same way they were last month, though the players have shifted spots a bit. Noticeably IefNaij gaining a few spots to hit number 3 and Canadian fellow Testie dropping nearly ten spots to 23.Breakdown by Race

This month we saw some really amazing players move up to where they deserves to be NonY, IefNaij and Strelok all advanced. Most notably NonY captured over twenty spots to take his place in the top ten. Some old favorites are now absent from the ranks like Dreiven and Dinot, they will have plenty of opportunity to come back this month though. A lot of leagues are going on this month, TSL, GSL and of course the ladder clan leagues will give everyone a chance to move up in the rankings.
Here at GosuGamers we do our best to give an accurate view on the Brood War scene outside Korea. This month yet again Mondragon has managed to come out on top of our rankings and he continues to dominate Brood War. We also still see the Protoss is the most popular race among the top 30 players and Poland loses their top slot as the most gosu nation. We will see if they can take that spot back next month since Dreiven and Draco have both become more active.
