You played your first match in the BWCL Premier League yesterday. Could you tell me a little about the matches against Ghost?
- We played the first and third one on Tau cross, and I don't know much about it (if its Terran > Protoss or vice-versa) but I didn't feel like I did bad. On first one he managed to get too many of my probes on vulture harassing while I was out of my base trying to do something to his expansion, which I couldn't. That made me get too far behind and couldn't take over the game.
On the second one I picked Longinus since I had been playing it a lot this last week, we both expanded early and I thought carrying fast will do some fine job, and it did, got some free units till he got his Goliaths up and that made me do good the rest of the game.
And the final game was the most balanced one in my opinion. We started again with early expansions both, I took the third one but he disabled it with some push on the lateral bridge while expanding himself. Then I pushed his expansion and made him fall back in again, while taking out his push on my expansion. I think what made me lose was to do the following attack by his expansion's bridge, where I couldn't get most of my units attacking, and just managed to take out his Command Center while not killing many tanks and vultures then he pushed back and that was over.
You have been pretty inactive in the scene, tell me, what have you been up to lately?
- I got Age of Empires 3 and its expansion as a prize for the last WCG position, and it was something I felt like I should try, and since my brother Abeja had been into Age of Empires 2 and he liked it a lot, being able to talk about the game with someone makes you like it even more. Been playing it for about two months or so, and some Quake 3 also, a game I have always liked a lot. now I'm trying to make my way back in Brood War, hope I get to!
What made you come back to Brood War?
Hmm, one if it would be that I know much more people on Brood War than I do on Age of Empires, that makes me have more fun on Brood War. Also being good in a game is always pleasant, and that's how I feel about Brood War, although I'm not doing so bad in Age of Empires.
So it wasn't because of Mondragon asking you to join Templars of Twilight?
- He had always told me that if I wanted to come back to ToT I would be welcome there, since I left it for some circumstantial problems, but at first I was on x6amd, in which I thought we would be treated a bit better than we were, and then I got into _die with some friends. But now I felt like getting into a good clan would help me a lot on getting many good games and many of my friends on _die were offline again, and I had some friends in ToT too, so I accepted the offer.
You have MeetYourMakers and All Aggression ProTeam left to play in the BWCL Premier Leauge, and you're 7 points ahead. Looking good, no?
- Well, looks good definitely, but you never know what can happen on a clan war, even though you have a godlike lineup you can lose (and even more having me in it). Also I've been told MYM's lineup and... actually I'm scared! But yes, I trust my team and I know we can do it. We (or "they" since I just came in) haven't lost any BWCL Premier League clan war yet, that might mean something - or at least I hope it does.
Did you know that a well-known German WarCraft 3 player called Fire actually won the Age of Empires WCG tournament once, and is still one of the top players in Germany in WC3? Would you be taking part in the Age of Empires WCG qualifier if Spain had it?
- Hehehe, that would be fun indeed, and I'd love to have Age of Empires 3 this year on WCG, think it's a very funny and interesting game, with some cool new things I'd never seen in a strategy game. I think I would play both if able, since I would feel capable of winning the Spanish qualifiers, but probably focusing more on the Brood War one.
Would you say you are rusty, or are you back in full shape?
- When I play I still feel I'm not what I used to be, but I think I have a more open mind although my micro fails more often. Hope that feeling disappears soon because it feels like shit noticing that you aren't able to do what you could do just a while ago.
Who do you practice with?
- I don't feel like I need very good opponents to play with, so I just get in op ToT) and accept any of the game offers, but sometimes I try to play SquaLL or Mondragon since are the ToTs I usually talk more with. Oh! and I also play some 3v3 Hunters games usually with Arenazul and Libertati, some Spanish friends. Although most people don't think the same way I do, I consider that a training.
What is your take on the Spanish scene? Who would you say are the top players in the Spanish community?
- I'm going blind on this one, you never know who's playing and who's not. ALFA and Suker are always non-active online but then they get back and do good on LANs, and I've been quite offline too as I've already said, but I guess SquaLL is the most in shape one and would win a Spanish tourney if there was any now.

Voices in the community about ZelotITO
iLvY: Ed is I guess one of the really nice and manner one, old school and with David and Gus the best Spanish guys, being toss makes him even more loved. I am happy that I was able to meet him in Milan last year and hope he will manage to get into WCG 2007 again. Also I hope he feels home in the team for a long time
Artanis: I saw him at the WCG. He is a great player which in the past has excelled in mostly PvP. He has amazed us once again by going Top 8 in the World Cyber Games from inactivity. He's also a great person in real life, which he showed at the World Cyber Games.
Clawson: Well he's a very friendly fellah, very good player when he's motivated. Good to see him back in the scene.
PuertoRican: ZelotITO is a top 3 Protoss non-Korean player, he has proven many times that he is great, when it really matters. Theres no doubt that he will take top 2 in Spain this year for WCG.
MgZ)DetO: Great player indeed. Definitely good add for Templars. I've always looked up to him as mannered and skilled player and why is he great, well he just is!
Habit: I've know Zelotito for quite some time. Even though he occasionally gets on euro and actually talk to people! :) The first time I met him was during a PGT game, early season, like 2-3 or even first. He was very mannered, cheered for my "new and odd" strategy that I used against him. Yet he still won me big time. He's the kinda guy that you can't be mad at, like a little teddy bear... You hug 'em until they get dusty. And Zelotito ain't never gonna be dusty.
SarenS: He is a good guy and did a good work at WCG. Nice addition for ToT. Will be more fun to watch a Protoss playing in ToT than all those Zergs. Hope to see how his PvZ will improve. Good luck to him!
